Porsche 911 GT3 Touring

The Porsche 911 GT3 Touring is a high performance model of the Porsche 911 sports car. In summary, it’s a track-ready machine that’s also street legal. This makes it one of the most amazing cars ever built. Plus they are very rare due to the low production numbers. Luckily for us this customer has searched for a long time to finally come across this beauty and pick it up. The smart decision he made was getting it straight to us to get it protected.

Existing Paint Protection Film

A quick summary of this customer is that he’s brought many cars to us to get wrapped. He knows exactly how we do it and the length we go on our installs. This Porsche already came with paint protection film installed, but it didn’t look very good at all. It bothered him so much he didn’t even want to keep some, he wanted it all removed. No problem we can do that and off goes the hideous installed wrap. We had a clean slate on the paint to work with to give it the protection it deserves.

Preperation

After full removal and giving the vehicle a two stage paint correction, comes the disassembling of the vehicle for the film. We remove the following:

Front Bumper
Headlights
Door Handles
Mirrors
Quarter Glass
Trim
Taillights
Spoiler

The huge importance of removing these panels is what gives us that amazing clean install. It helps hides the edge and the film is tucked in.

STEK DYNOshield

We install our paint protection film using STEK DYNOshield. This is a 10 years warranty film that covers and yellowing, peeling, and any defects that happen with the film. The PPF is what protects it from rock chips and scratches. That way your brand new car would get nicked up especially from trucks and large semi on the freeway.

CQuartz Finest Reserve

Lastly we add CQuartz Finest Reserve ceramic coating to all of the wrapped surfaces. It makes it way easier to maintain so less dirt and duststicks to the clear bra. We use our IR heat lamps to bake the coating afterwards to ensure it is cured and hardened properly. The rest of the car we want it to make it look it’s best so not only the vinyl gets coating but everywhere else too. We apply ceramic coating the the wheels inside and out, brake calipers, all plastic trim, and the glass is polished and coated.
